K.F.S.C.S – Kilkenny’s Fallen Stock Collection Service Limited, is seeking to recruit a General Meat Processing Operative for its processing facility in Mullinavat, Co. Kilkenny. This role involves handling livestock carcasses that have failed initial quality inspections and require further examination. The successful candidate will be responsible for splitting carcasses, deboning, trimming, and preparing meat for veterinary evaluation, in compliance with all regulatory, hygiene, and safety standards. Main Duties Splitting livestock carcasses -Deboning and trimming meat - Preparing carcasses and meat for veterinary inspection - Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards -Following all Health & Safety and operational procedures - Working in a controlled meat processing environment. Candidate Requirements - Previous experience in meat processing (essential) - Basic English communication skills (required) - Good attention to detail - Ability to work in a physical role - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Employment Details Working Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: €30,000 per annum Location: Mullinavat, Co. Kilkenny
