Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Key Tasks:
To ensure orderly movement and safety of visitors during events and peak visiting hours.
Regular collection and disposal of litter to maintain the cleanliness of the lighthouse premises.
Addressing minor repairs and general maintenance of the facilities
Assisting with the setting up and dismantling of equipment for events.

Skills & Experience Developed:
Gain experience in the management of people moving through the site.
Gain experience and skills in general facilities maintenance.
Gain experience of event management.
Work with colleagues to ensure the premises are kept clean and tidy.
Gain good communication and IT skills.
