The successful candidate will be responsible for joining stainless steel parts using appropriate welding techniques, including electric arc and gas torch methods. The role involves connecting wires to power supplies or hoses to oxygen, acetylene, argon, carbon dioxide, electric arc, or other sources, and adjusting controls to regulate gas pressure and flow rates. The welder will guide the electric torch along weld lines, melt brazing alloy or solder into joints, and clean and smooth completed welds. The position also requires preparing materials by cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning with close attention to detail. The candidate must be able to read and follow technical drawings to ensure precision and accuracy. Responsibilities include setting up, maintaining, and adjusting welding equipment, as well as checking finished work for defects and conformity with specifications. Knowledge of Radan CNC software is an advantage. A minimum of two years’ relevant experience is required. Rate of pay is €19.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. In addition, 4 hours of overtime per week are guaranteed and paid at time and a half (€28.50 per hour). Based on these hours and rates, the weekly gross pay is €874.00 and the annual gross pay is €45,448.00. The position is full-time on a fixed-term contract for a duration of two years.
