Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Positions will be based in Carmelite Community Centre located on Aungier Street, Dublin 2.
Would you like to develop skills and gain valuable work experience in a Community Centre?

Duties will include the following:
- General cleaning of Carmelite and Centre facilities including rooms, toilets, windows, stairs, banisters etc.
- Washing, sweeping and vacuuming of floors and rooms
- Cleaning of toilets and ensuring that handwash, paper towels and toilet paper are restocked
- Checking cleaning / supplies stock levels and reporting any requirements to Manager
- Using cleaning products, antibacterial sprays, aerosols, polish, disinfectant etc.
- Adhering to health and safety as well as hygiene practices
