Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Duties: 
Minor repairs in the Nursery
Cleaning the area around the Nursery
Changing light fittings, washers etc.
Security at the door when children are arriving and leaving
Checking play ground for any objects thrown over the boundary walls etc.
Supplying the classrooms with essentials i.e. tissues, paper towels, soap etc.
Informing office when supplies are running low
Cleaning the conservatory each Friday
Keeping corridors safe and clean, free of any spillages and or dangerous
items on corridor.
Assisting staff moving things from point to point
Cleaning windows
Painting fence in car park area
Accompany a child down the corridor
Accompany children on outings during the Summer and at Christmas
Assist in the collection service when in operation
