Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
• Communication and interpersonal skills will be developed. • Represent Roma person on local and regional committees, working groups, services etc. • Build the capacity of Roma person to engage with services, training and supports. • Build knowledge of, and experience in, person rights issues, domestic and sexual violence, Primary Health Care, community development, and other relevant fields with a focus on improving the quality of life of Roma • Identify and record barriers and issues for Roma. • Organise and deliver information and training sessions for local service providers on antiracism and discrimination, and good practice when working with Roma. • Advocate/speak on behalf of Roma. • Have experience in organising and delivering presentations and training sessions. • Be able to show empathy, dignity and respect towards people who experience domestic and sexual violence. • To promote good mental health Location of Post:
