What you will do:
Assume responsibility for all aspects of the coffee bar including inventory management, coffee program, coffee quality, workflow efficiency, and cost management
Prepare and serve great espresso and coffee drinks and be the Coffee Expert in our store
Develop guidelines and conduct quality control audits to ensure that beverages are consistent and meet the company standards
Liaise with our coffee suppliers to ensure quality and standards are maintained and constantly developed and improved upon
Display and possess excellent knowledge of coffees, their origins, their flavour notes, and the various brewing methods, preparation, and presentation
Be able to engage and build strong relationships with onsite customers - remembering names, favourite orders and preferences
Actively work towards creating a superior cafe experience through customer service, beverage preparation and presentation, in-store marketing, and the upkeep and maintenance of coffee areas
Be the ideal example to peers and proactively train our novice or newly hired baristas
Support internal events when needed

What you will bring:
Certified Barista
At least 3 years experience in a fast-paced specialty Coffee company
Bring a genuine enthusiasm for coffee, service, and creating memorable moments every day
Thrive on providing thoughtful, personal customer service that goes above and beyond
Be naturally warm, approachable and confident when engaging with people at all levels
Willing to learn on the job to tackle new responsibilities
Enjoy working as part of a close-knit, upbeat and collaborative team
Be self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
