Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Caretaker duties will include keeping the grass cut, all pathways clear of moss and all areas outside the building free from litter, as well as weeding and maintaining the flowerbed.

Some general maintenance inside the building is required, as well as keeping the entrance and indoor public areas clean and tidy, plus occasional window cleaning at the front of the building.

Caretaker responsibilities also include setting up chairs/tables etc when needed, as well as basic cleaning, checking fire exits and completing any other jobs, as and when required.
