We’re looking for someone to join our takeaway coffee dock on a work placement and get hands-on experience and training in a customer-focused environment. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of working in a coffee dock and build confidence dealing with customers. You will learn how to make coffees and other drinks, serve customers quickly and efficiently, and keep things moving. You will also assist with using the till to take orders and payments, social media, as well as keeping the dock clean, tidy, and well stocked throughout the day. As it’s a takeaway setup, being able to stay organised and work as part of a small team is important. You’ll also be interacting with customers regularly. No experience is needed—just a willingness to learn and get involved. During the placement, you’ll pick up barista basics, customer service skills, and experience working in a real café setting. We’re a supportive team and will guide you as you learn.
