Johnston International Transport & Logistics Ltd is seeking a qualified and reliable HGV Driver to join our team based in Co. Meath. This is a permanent, full‑time position offering a salary of €40,000 per year for 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient and professional transport of goods throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe. We are looking for a motivated driver with communication skills, a commitment to safety and the ability to work independently while representing the company to a high standard. Applicants must hold a full clean C licence, valid CPC certification and have proven experience in HGV driving. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail and the ability to follow delivery schedules and regulatory requirements. Key duties include operating heavy goods vehicles in compliance with Irish and EU transport regulations, completing long‑haul and multi‑drop deliveries, performing daily vehicle checks, reporting defects, securing loads safely and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. The driver will liaise with dispatch, customers and team members to ensure timely and professional service. Responsibilities also include adhering to company policies, safety procedures and delivery deadlines while maintaining a high standard of vehicle care and road safety.
