A Vehicle Repairer is required to work at RCS Garage Ltd, based in Cluain Fraoigh Retail Park, Lanesborough Road, Roscommon. Three positions are available. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Duties will include carrying out visual inspections and test drives to identify faults; using diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle repair needs; Knowledge Vehicle eletrical systems; removing, repairing, and replacing defective parts related to vehicle body, structure, and fittings; repairing minor damage to chassis and vehicle framework using appropriate tools and equipment; carrying out dent removal, panel replacement, and surface restoration using fillers and hand and power tools; installing and repairing interior fittings such as seats, seatbelts, and fascia; positioning, securing, and repairing external fittings including doors, windows, handles, and other body components; performing basic maintenance tasks on braking and suspension systems; checking the condition of electrical and electronic components and carrying out minor repairs where required; ensuring all repair work meets safety standards and warranty requirements; and providing customer follow-up services.
