Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties: Work towards acquiring a full knowledge of all BRYR’s food and beverage healthy eating policies and procedures, in accordance with kitchen hygiene standards and HACCP. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in both the kitchen and seating areas. Carry out all cleaning duties according to the cleaning rota, including wash-up and pot washing. Ensure all crockery and cooking utensils are stored on clean shelves and in clean cupboards/drawers. Support the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of meals. As arranged and briefed, assist with light food preparation and cooking (e.g., hot snacks, sandwiches, fruit/vegetables, drinks) in the Head Chef’s absence. Ensure all storage areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Become familiar with all kitchen equipment and cleaning requirements. Report any faulty, broken, or damaged equipment immediately to the Head Chef.
