Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Practicing correct manual handling and safety knowledge regarding cleaning products used and hygiene issues. Understanding areas of responsibility and tasks to be done there-in. Familiarise themselves with their area and familiarise themselves with each routine needed to clean the area of their responsibility. Cleaning areas to highest possible standard. Thoroughly clean each area and ensure areas are cleaned to each different degree necessary on the given day. Follow daily cleaning rosters for each area. Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors, Avail of training opportunities provided Seek out training of interest to you and that will further your job prospects.
