Milltown Composting Systems Ltd, located at Castleblake, Rosegreen, Cashel, Co. Tipperary is seeking 2 skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic/Automotive Technician to join our growing automotive service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles while ensuring high standards of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
•	Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
•	Carry out routine vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance.
•	Repair and replace engines, gearboxes, clutches, brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems.
•	Perform vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements.
•	Conduct engine management and fault-finding procedures.
•	Prepare vehicles for NCT and roadworthiness inspections.
•	Maintain detailed service and repair records.
•	Ensure compliance with workshop health and safety procedures.
•	Use workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems effectively.
•	Work independently and as part of a team to meet productivity targets.
Essential Requirements
•	Relevant qualification in Motor Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or equivalent.
•	Minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a Motor Mechanic.
•	Experience working on petrol and diesel vehicles.
•	Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs to a high standard.
•	Good communication and problem-solving skills.
•	Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.

Salary: €36,605 per annum
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Yearly remuneration €36,605 p/a based on 39 hours work per week.
