Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

This is your opportunity to change career with a stepping stones to employment.  This programme gives successful applicants the opportunity for practical work experience of 19.5 hours per week in conjunction with studying towards a major award in your chosen career. All training cost will be 100% funded through the programme.  

Duties: The Part Time Preschool Driver/ Light maintenance person is a dual-role position responsible for the safe and timely transportation for preschool children to and from the facility in company car during designated periods, as well as undertaking various light maintenance tasks to ensure the safe, clean, and well maintained environment for children and staff.  

This role requires a high degree of responsibility, reliability and a genuine affinity for working in a childcare setting. a full clean B driving licence, a knowledge of the local area and surrounding areas. 

Applicant must have an outgoing personality and flexibility is required. applicants must supply tow suitable character references and be prepared to complete a garda vetting application form
