Key Responsibilities • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration equipment. • Diagnose faults and perform repairs on refrigeration and cooling systems. • Service commercial refrigeration units, cold rooms, freezer rooms, display cabinets, and associated controls. • Install new refrigeration systems and commission equipment. • Recover, handle, and charge refrigerants in accordance with environmental regulations. • Complete service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation. • Respond to emergency breakdown call-outs. • Liaise with customers regarding repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance. • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures. • Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
