AquaFarm Systems Ltd T/A Flynn’s Painting & Decorating and Flynn’s Painting Contractors require multiple painters for its location at  Donaghmore, Kilkerley, Dundalk, Co. Louth A91D8ER. Sufficient relevant experience required, the salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €54,000 (€26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
The Painter will be responsible for preparing, repairing, and painting surfaces to a high standard. The role includes surface preparation, colour matching, paint application, finishing work, and ensuring all work is completed in line with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing surfaces by sanding, filling, masking, and priming.
Mixing and matching paint colours accurately.
Applying paint and protective coatings using appropriate equipment.
Carrying out polishing and finishing work to a high standard.
Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintaining tools, equipment, and a safe working environment.
Working efficiently to complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
Required Qualifications – Proven experience as a Painter, strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques, excellent colour-matching skills, proficiency in using painting equipment and tools, strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills. Experience working in a workshop, manufacturing, industrial, or commercial environment is essential.
