We are seeking a Thermoforming Process Technician to support our plastic manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, adjusting, and troubleshooting thermoforming machines to ensure efficient production, consistent product quality, and safe working practices.

The role involves controlling the thermoforming production process, carrying out quality checks, identifying production issues, making process adjustments, and working with the production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Main Duties
Set up and operate thermoforming machines for plastic product manufacturing.
Adjust machine settings such as temperature, pressure, timing, forming, cutting, and trimming controls.
Monitor machine performance during production runs to ensure products meet specifications.
Carry out quality checks and identify product defects or process issues.
Troubleshoot production and machine-related problems.
Support mould/tool changes and prepare machines for new production runs.
Record production data, machine settings, quality checks, and process adjustments.
Work with maintenance staff to report faults and reduce machine downtime.
Follow production schedules and support daily output targets.
Comply with health, safety, hygiene, and company procedures.
Support improvements in production efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.

Requirements
Previous experience working with thermoforming or plastic manufacturing machinery.
Experience in machine setup, adjustment, and process control.
Ability to troubleshoot production issues and identify product defects.
Knowledge of quality control in a manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work as part of a production team.
