Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Maintenance/Caretaker - St. Carthage’s House CLG - Lismore
General maintenance duties, waste management, litter picking, pest control. Garden responsibilities include monitoring the health of all plants and greenspaces, watering and feeding plants, trimming trees, hedges and shrubs, planting, digging, pruning a variety of plants, leaf collection, sweeping areas, maintain flower beds, fertilizing lawns, weeding gardens and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter. Design & set up a vegetable garden. Painting, maintenance of building and garden areas. Various other duties from time to time as required.
