P. McGovern & Son (Construction) Limited is a well-established construction company based in Cavan, delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and public works projects. We are seeking an experienced Project Co-Ordinator or Manager to join our growing team. If you are an ambitious individual looking for

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the planning and scheduling of onsite projects, drawing preparation, organising materials, and arranging sub-contractors.
Assisting with material purchasing, managing stock and deliveries for ongoing site projects
Communication and working alongside the on-site team to resolve queries and variations
Quality, Risk and Safety management of projects to ensure compliance with all required industry legislation and standards
Assist in monitoring project performance to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget

Preferred Experience & Skills:
Proven experience in the above tasks, with a solid track record in either Construction, Civil Engineering for both residential and commercial projects
Ability to read and prepare detailed drawings and use CAD software
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality outputs
Strong negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers, sub contractors and site supervisors to secure best terms and resolve disputes
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong overall computer skills
Excellent organisation skills to manage multiple tasks, documents and priorities efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work well in a team environment, flexibility to adjust to evolving circumstances and capable of independent problem solving

Hours of work are 39 per week, commensurate with an annual salary of
