About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Carer to provide dedicated personal care and support within a private home environment. The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities and help maintain a safe, supportive, and positive atmosphere for the care recipient. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and assistance (e.g. dressing, feeding, mobility, hygiene). Support day-to-day routines, educational or therapy activities, and community participation. Monitor wellbeing and maintain daily care notes. Ensure a clean and safe environment related to the care recipient’s needs. Communicate effectively with the employer and any professionals involved in care. Note: This position will require the candidate to be available from 7.30am. Note: This position is focused solely on personal care duties. It does not include general household cleaning, laundry, or domestic service for the wider household. Qualifications and Experience Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in personal care or home-care settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and with discretion in a family setting. Additional Information 4 weeks’ paid annual leave plus public holidays. Please note that these will need to be taken at an agreed time which suits the needs of the care recipient Employment is conditional upon the granting of a General Employment Permit by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
