Based in Ballymun, the Centre provides a welcoming drop-in space where men can access information, connect with others, and engage in community programmes.

We are seeking a Drop-In Centre Worker to join our dedicated team. This role is central to ensuring that all visitors to the centre feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to access the help and resources they need. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients, maintaining a supportive environment, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the centre.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Support:
Greet and welcome all visitors to the centre in a warm, respectful, and professional manner.
Provide information about the centre’s services, programmes, and community resources.
Support clients in using facilities such as computers, internet access, and printed materials.
Offer guidance and practical assistance to clients seeking information on employment, training, mental health supports, and other relevant community services.
Encourage participation in group activities, workshops, and events organised by the centre.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and confidential environment for all visitors.
Listen to clients’ needs with empathy and refer them to appropriate staff or external agencies where necessary.

Centre Operations and Administration:
Assist in the daily running of the drop-in centre, ensuring it remains tidy, organised, and welcoming.
Support staff and volunteers in outreach tasks as required.

Community Liaison:

Build positive relationships with local organisations, service providers, and community members to enhance the centre’s network of support.
Promote the Men’s Networking Resource Centre’s activities and services within the Ballymun area and beyond.
Participate in outreach initiatives, community events, or awareness campaigns that align with the centre’s mission.
