Location: No Fixed Place, Ireland.
Salary: €52,500 per annum.
Contract: Full-time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract. Monday – Friday (with flexibility to attend events)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Staffing Manager to lead the attraction, recruitment, onboarding and deployment of high-volume workforces for a major event.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic workforce planning with hands-on recruitment delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring staffing requirements are met, compliance standards are maintained and workforce plans are delivered efficiently to support business growth and operational excellence.

Working closely with operational leaders, HR teams and external partners, you will play a key role in building engaged, high-performing teams that deliver exceptional service.

What You Will Be Doing
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns across operational, management and specialist roles.
Build and maintain talent pipelines to meet the business needs.
Develop attraction strategies using job boards, social media, networking and community partnerships.
Forecast staffing requirements and support workforce planning activities.
Manage agency relationships and recruitment suppliers.

Onboarding & Compliance
Ensure all recruitment activity complies with employment legislation and company policy.
Oversee Right to Work documentation, references and pre-employment screening.
Maintain accurate employee records and workforce data.
Support audit and compliance requirements across the recruitment lifecycle.

Training & Employee Experience
Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes.
Support completion of mandatory training requirements.
Work with stakeholders to identify workforce development needs.
Champion a positive candidate and employee experience.

Operational Support
Collaborate with business leaders to deliver workforce plans effectively.
Monitor staffing levels and proactively address resourcing challenges.
Support mobilisation activities of the event contract.
Provide recruitment insight, reporting and recommendations to stakeholders.

Financial Management
Manage labour forecasting and workforce budgeting activities.
Monitor recruitment spends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Produce regular staffing reports and onboarding metrics.

What We're Looking For
Essential
Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing or workforce planning.
Strong understanding of Irish employment legislation.
Experience managing high-volume recruitment campaigns.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.

Desirable
Experience within hospitality, events or other large-scale operational environments.
Experience working with large temporary or casual workforces.
