We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our professional accounting practice in Dublin.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

-	Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including recording transactions, categorizing expenses, and reconciling bank statements.
-	Assist in the preparation of Year end Accounts
-	Assist in the preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns 
-	Assisting with managing multiple engagements and ensuring timely delivery of services
-	Operating software packages to record and retrieve information, particularly spreadsheets


The role will also provide exposure to solicitors' accounts and accounting for legal practices, including the preparation and maintenance of financial records, client ledger records and related reconciliations.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop practical accounting experience within a professional practice environment and to progress their technical knowledge across accounting, taxation and financial reporting.

Requirements:

-	A minimum of 2 years’ experience.
-	Excellent attention to detail & good communication skills.
-	Strong organisational and time management skills.
-	Strong analytical skills.
-	Proficiency in IT skills, particularly in Excel. 
-	Bachelor’s degree preferably in an accounting discipline.

Software Experience: 
-	Knowledge of computerised accounts packages is an advantage, particularly solicitors accounts (e.g. CORTBase, Leap software, Surf, Xero Accounting Software, Harvest Law, Lex Solicitor Accounting Software)
