As a Mammographer (Senior Radiographer), you will make a meaningful contribution to both the quality of the service and the experience of every woman attending BreastCheck. Your work will directly support early cancer detection and help improve health outcomes nationwide. Flexible Opportunities We are currently offering both full-time and part-time positions, with consideration given to flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance. Locations: Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to join our Dublin-based screening units: BreastCheck Southern Unit, Infirmary Road, Ballintemple, Cork BreastCheck Western Unit, Newcastle Road, Galway BreastCheck Eccles Unit, Eccles Street, Dublin 7 BreastCheck Merrion Unit, Merrion Road, Dublin 4 BreastCheck operates four screening units located in hospitals and a network of 24 mobile clinics across Ireland. Candidates interested in working within any of these locations are encouraged to apply. Life as a Mammographer (Senior Radiographer) As part of a multidisciplinary breast screening team, you will be responsible for: Producing high-quality mammograms to support the early detection of breast cancer. Conducting quality assurance and monitoring tests on specialist mammography equipment. Ensuring equipment is operated safely and in accordance with established standards and protocols. Delivering a high-quality, compassionate service to women attending BreastCheck. Mammographers play a crucial role in breast cancer screening, combining technical expertise with patient-centred care to achieve the highest possible standards of service delivery. Eligibility Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must: Be registered as a Radiographer with CORU. Have a minimum of three years' full-time post-qualification experience, or an aggregate equivalent.
