Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

To be successful as a Shop Assistant, you should be well-organised, have effective communication skills and achieve exceptional customer service.

Duties include;
• Advising and serving customers
• Processing payments
• Assisting customers to help them find what they need
• Ensuring stock levels are well maintained
• Providing customers with information on pricing and product availability
• Keeping stock clean and presentable
• Always maintaining shop floor standards both at the front and back of house.
