• Qualified refrigeration engineer or equivalent recognised refrigeration/HVAC qualification / experience • Strong commercial refrigeration experience • Experience diagnosing electrical and refrigeration faults • Experience with commercial fridges, freezers, cold rooms, display refrigeration and ice machines • Refrigerant handling/F-Gas qualification or ability to obtain the certification required to perform the role in Ireland • Full driving licence • Ability to work independently at customer sites • Good English and customer communication skills Key Responsibilities • Installation, servicing and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. • Diagnose electrical and refrigeration faults. • Service and repair commercial fridges, freezers, cold rooms, display cabinets and ice machines. • Carry out preventative maintenance and safety checks. • Fault finding and replacement of defective components. • Refrigerant recovery, system repairs, pressure testing and commissioning where appropriately certified. • Maintain accurate service records and job reports. • Communicate professionally with customers. • Follow company health & safety procedures. • Travel to customer sites throughout Ireland when required.
