Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Location: Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00–19:00
Salary: €41,600–€52,000 gross annually, equivalent to €160–€200 per day, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

About the role

FTBI is recruiting a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to support warehouse and delivery activities across two nearby locations.

Working with the Transport Manager and other supervisors, you will organise daily workloads, supervise warehouse staff and coordinate with drivers to ensure orders are checked, loaded safely and dispatched on time.

The role combines team leadership, operational coordination and practical support when required.

Main duties
- Plan daily tasks and allocate work to warehouse staff.
- Support staff training and monitor work quality.
- Coordinate warehouse and delivery activities with drivers and managers.
- Oversee receiving, order preparation, stock checks, loading and dispatch.
- Record and report shortages, damaged goods and order discrepancies.
- Check that goods are secured and organised appropriately for delivery.
- Resolve operational issues and maintain clear communication with colleagues and customers.
- Monitor completion of vehicle checks and report defects.
- Assist with loading, forklift and powered pallet truck operation when required.
- Carry out occasional deliveries when required.
- Maintain operational records and follow workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in warehousing, distribution or transport.
- Experience organising workloads and supporting a team.
- Practical experience in loading, dispatch and delivery driving.
- Full Category B driving licence valid in Ireland.
- Forklift and powered pallet truck operating experience.
- Valid Forklift, PPT and Manual Handling certificates.
- English communication skills sufficient to give instructions, maintain records and communicate with drivers and customers.
- Basic computer skills.
- Availability to work at the stated location and hours.
